What? No 'Rio'?

There's something of a synth rock love-in going down on Twitter right now.

After Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon shared his ten favourite songs of all time with Far Out magazine, which included The Killers 2004 hit 'Somebody Told Me', that band's singer Brandon Flowers decided to return the favour... by sharing a list of his favourite Duran Duran songs.

The Killers have long been vocal about the influence the legendary Birmingham band have had on their music, and they've crossed paths in the past plenty of times before. Most notably, in 2008, Brandon and guitarist Dave Keuning joined the group onstage in Vegas for a rendition of 'Planet Earth'.

But what about that list on Twitter?

Well it's strong, despite missing some of Duran Duran's biggest hits. It's the sort of list that says, 'I really love this band, but I'm going to play it cool by putting in some slightly less known songs'. And fair play to you Brandon, we'd probably do the same.
